Bald Mountain Camps Guide Service is led by Master Guide Stephen Philbrick. With multiple guides on staff and an amazing facility here on Mooselookmeguntic Lake we are sure to accommodate all of your needs. We serve small or large groups as our cabins can accommodate 2-8 people comfortably with an amazing waterfront view. Located in the center of the property is the restaurant and bar, with food and drinks that are second to none in the area.
Our guiding staff scouts year-round with 50+ trail cameras, early morning scouting flights, and hundreds of miles of driving and hiking. Moose hunting can be a great challenge some years when Mother Nature throws a curve ball in weather and moose stop responding post rut and when temperatures are high. Extraction upon harvest is a very vital part in a moose hunt: getting the animal cooled down and delivered to the butcher in a timely manner is key to ensure the preservation of the meat!
Our guiding staff plays a huge part in the moose hunt, with the tools and knowledge to be able to switch from stand calling to spot and stalk methods when key moose are being targeted. Always getting the sports as close as possible to make the best shot, with a gun or a bow.
If you want to make your Maine Moose Hunt a memorable and fun experience let our guide staff take care of the hard work, while you focus on making a great memory & a perfect shot!
Our services will include three meals in the lodge and/or out in the woods, lodging in our amazing cabins, our guide staff, transportation in and out of the woods, extraction and cleaning of the moose, transportation of the moose to the butcher and our local taxidermist if needed.
